The Art of Clarity
Trauma-informed support for people affected by addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse and emotional harm.
There is a way through confusion, fear and overwhelm.
Support begins with clarity, safety and understanding.
When life becomes emotionally tangled
You may feel:
- emotionally exhausted
- trapped in harmful patterns
- overwhelmed by someone else’s behaviour or addiction
- anxious, confused or constantly doubting yourself
- isolated or unable to speak openly
- affected by manipulation, coercion or abuse
- disconnected from your own instincts and sense of self
Sometimes experiences involving trauma, abuse or emotional harm can leave people feeling stuck, frightened or unable to see a way forward.
You are not alone.
Disentanglement offers a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space to begin making sense of difficult experiences and to explore what healing, clarity and stability may look like for you.
A trauma-informed approach
Every person’s experience is different.
My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed and tailored to the individual. Together we work to understand harmful patterns, reduce overwhelm and create meaningful, sustainable change.
Sometimes you may need someone to help you reflect on situations from a different perspective, to ask thoughtful questions or gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you.
Sometimes you may simply need space to speak openly and be heard without judgement, pressure or interruption.
Support may draw upon a range of approaches including:
- CBT-informed techniques
- Mindfulness
- Motivational Interviewing
- Life Coaching
- NLP-informed approaches
The focus is always on emotional clarity, understanding, stability and personal growth.
Areas of support
Disentanglement offers support around:
- Addiction and family impact

There is no judgement here.
Only support, understanding and a way forward.
There is a solution
Trauma and harmful experiences can create confusion, fear and emotional entanglement.
Healing does not begin with blame.
It begins with understanding.
Understanding what has happened.
Understanding how trauma affects the mind and body.
Understanding that survival responses are not weakness.
Clarity creates change.
Safety creates possibility.
There is a solution.
There is a way forward.
Disentanglement offers trauma-informed support and guidance and is not a crisis or emergency service.
If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or a specialist crisis organisation.
